Fullerton College offers six certificates in the Machine Tools area. An A.S. Degree in Manufacturing Technology is also available with Machining as an optional area of specialization. Approval of certificates is conducted by department faculty members through the Division of Technology & Engineering Office located in Room 700 of the Technology and Engineering Building (Building 700). Degree fulfillment is reviewed by the staff in the Admissions and Records office located next to the bookstore on the south side of Chapman Avenue. Consult the college catalog for other important information.  Machine Tool faculty members will be glad to advise you as you plan your schedule.

Machine Technology - Level I
The Machine Technology - Level I Certificate Program requires a total of 17-18 units with a minimum grade of "C" in
each course taken. At least one half of the units towards the certificate must be taken at Fullerton College.

CNC Operator
The CNC Operator Certificate Program requires a total of 14 units of which 14 units are in required courses with a
minimum grade of “C” in each course taken. At least one half of the units toward the certificate must be completed at
Fullerton College.

Machine Technology - Level II

courses. An additional 9 units must be chosen from the restricted electives listed below. A minimum grade of "C" is
required in each course taken. At least one half of the units towards the certificate must be taken at Fullerton College.

The Manufacturing Technology AS Degree Program requires a total of 24 units of which 9 units are in required
courses. An additional 15 units must be chosen from the restricted units listed below. The degree also requires the
completion of courses listed in the college catalog required for fulfillment of the general education core, P.E.
requirement, and the multicultural requirement. A total of 60 units are required.
